Alright, we confess, we’re not magicians, but we definitely feel that there is an uncanny magic within our cloths. It seems to have crept into the weave from the rugged colourful landscapes of Donegal.
We invite you to come and see for yourself. The wild mountains, the shades of the seasons, the texture of the rich earth reflected uniquely in our garments and threads.
Come to Kilcar and see the Handweavers at work. It is fascinating to watch the cloths emerging on the loom and if you are lucky, you may see Donegal yarns being spun on the Spinning Mule.
But it is more than just the land that is in our cloths. Our dedicated and skilled handweavers and spinners put all their care, energy and attention into each and every garment.
Pick up any item and take a little piece of Ireland away with you and a whole lot of Donegal. Wear it with pride, because you’re one of the chosen few.
